Teaching

James Wylie brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to his work as an educator. Over many years of teaching, he has shared his passion for music through an approach that emphasizes deep listening, cross-cultural understanding, and creative exploration.

He teaches private lessons (saxophone, composition and theory) co-facilitates the teaching-based SKG Composers’ Workshop, and is a long-standing faculty member at the Music Village Festival in Agios Lavrentios, where he and Fausto Sierakowski lead the “Agios Lavrentios Dance Orchestra” workshop each summer.
